Relay for Life - Huntly 2009
Huntly is hosting it’s first “Relay for Life” to raise money for Cancer Research UK. It’s going to be a big event, in fact it is already the largest inaugural relay in the UK. Not bad for a town with 4,000 people.
You can read more about the Relay for Life in this weeks article in the Press and Journal or by visiting the Huntly Relay for Life web page at Cancer Research UK. One of the Relay for Life teams even have their own website, “Scared Fitless”
The event is taking place from 12 noon on Saturday the 27th of June and finishes at 12 noon on Sunday the 28th of June. If you can’t make it to the one in Huntly, then Peterhead will be hosting their own Relay from 11 am on Saturday the the 25th of July to Sunday the 26th of July.
Have you taken part in a Relay for Life event? How did it go? Would you repeat the experience?
